“My” baby J

Okay, okay… he isn’t my baby. But I’d take him in a heartbeat if my dear sister ever became tired of kissing those chubby cheeks. (Unlikely.)
Yes, his skin really is as pinch-able and smooshy as it looks! I can’t help myself but to mug those fat rolls whenever I get the chance to hold him. As babies do, he is growing… so we better enjoy the chubby love while it lasts!

A touch of Whimsy

I’ve never entered a photo challenge at before, but this week’s “whimsical” theme caught my attention. “What an excellent theme,” I thought, but didn’t plan to enter; at least not until this morning. I came across this photo I took during a session with my babes last week. She is my darling E, who I hope will grow up enjoying the whimsy in life.

Eva Cullen…. 😉

A good summer so far!

One of my favorite features of summer is longer days… so I can get out in the beautiful light and photograph for more hours of the day! So far it has been a good summer and I’ve got several sessions to post soon. For now, I thought I’d share a mini-session I did of this handsome young man and his gorgeous mom! My good friend, Andrea, wanted some pictures of her son for his eighth birthday. Eight is a special birthday for young members of our Church for it is the age they may choose to be baptized. It is a happy, exciting time for them and their families and the perfect opportunity for some pictures. (When isn’t?)

Andrea didn’t mind, so I snapped a few of her too. And for how many more years can you get a son to kiss his mother in a photograph? Better take the chance now, I say!

I designed this invitation for her to send to family and friends as well. {Text changed for privacy… in case you couldn’t tell. :)}

~ A.B.T. Preview ~

Here is a sneak peek of a session I’m working on. A, B, & T have been wanting to do a photo shoot for so long!
When they called me on Tuesday I said “Let’s go for it!” so we did. Oh what fun!
… FYI, “A” is my youngest sister. I think she looks like my mom!

Color, or Black and White? That is the question…

More photos to come soon, girls!
